Abby Melia

CO-ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Abby is a professional actor, writer, director, workshop facilitator from LIVERPOOL. Starring as ‘Nikki’ in the lead role of 20 stories high production  ‘BLACK’. She has written a one-woman monologue called ‘Real-Eyes’, based on true life experiences, watching her mum go through domestic violence (dramaturge by Philip Osment). Abby has a strong focus on getting young people engaged with the theatre community, believing we can make change, so young people's voices can be heard. Using her writing and directing knowledge to get to the truth of the issues, finding deeper meanings within art and humanity.

Bradley Thompson

CO-ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Bradley is an established artist from Kensington and a graduate of Liverpool Media Academy.

He’s a professional Actor and Director, featuring in films working with exceptional directors like Ken Loach. He has also acted in various big-scale theatre productions, gaining 5-star reviews, touring nationally and internationally.

During his acting career, he discovered a natural ability for directing and facilitating. 

He has unique performance skills and talents which feeds into His directing and devising methods. His passion is to inspire leadership in young people to ultimately improve artistic quality

Keith Arrowsmith

Board Member

Keith Arrowsmith is a solicitor providing charity law and governance advice. He qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and has since then been helping charities and other individuals and organisations in the cultural, creative, heritage, educational and media sectors.

Keith is a Governance Associate for the Clore Leadership Programme. He is Company Secretary for the Children’s Media Conference, Creative and Cultural Industries and Leeds Culture Trust. In his spare time, he supports theatre companies throughout the UK.

Lee Corner

Board Member

Lee Corner specialises in the development of organisations working in the third sector, arts and culture, and creative industries.  She holds a Certificate in Organisational Development, a Diploma (Distinction) in Employment Law and Personnel Practice and, in 2018, became an Accredited Mediator (Chartered Institute of Arbitrators).

In September 2013 Lee was selected for the first Arts Council North Area Council.  Previously, Lee served on the Creative Industries Advisory Panel of the British Council and on the Advisory Panel of the Northern Way, and in 2009 was selected to serve on the first Board of Directors for the National Skills Academy for Creative & Cultural Skills.

In 2018 she was appointed to the Chair of Absolutely Cultured, the successor company to Hull 2017 which led Hull’s successful year as City of Culture.
